Your first assignment starts here.

We provide an organized, professional environment for referees to develop while officiating youth soccer. Complete these steps before receiving assignments.

1. Join the Tiger Tournaments group in Assignr.
2. Submit availability through the event’s Jotform and update your availability in Assignr.
3. Complete your W-9 and add your banking details in Assignr Pay.
4. Install Assignr and have Google Maps or Apple Maps ready for travel to your complex.

03 · FROM ARRIVAL TO FINAL WHISTLE

Your match-day checklist.

Before every match

• Find your assigned field, introduce yourself and meet your crew.
• Inspect field conditions, goals, nets and game balls.
• Obtain the game card.
• Inspect player equipment and complete team check-in.

During the match

Maintain match control, communicate with your crew, protect player safety and help keep the tournament on schedule.

Before leaving the field

• Verify the final score.
• Complete any misconduct reports.
• Obtain required signatures, when applicable.
• Return the game card and prepare for your next assignment.

04 · THE TIGER STANDARD

Professionalism at every whistle.

Be punctual, look professional, communicate respectfully, hustle, work as a team and maintain a positive attitude. Apply the Laws of the Game consistently and put player safety first.

Spectator management

1. Ask the coach to address inappropriate behavior.
2. If it continues, stop play.
3. Contact tournament staff or the complex director.

Never argue with spectators.

05 · KEEP US INFORMED

Unable to work an assignment?

Contact your assignor immediately if an emergency prevents you from attending. Do not trade games, give away assignments or fail to appear without notice. Early communication helps us arrange coverage.

06 · PAYMENT SETUP

Ready for payday.

Tiger Tournaments uses Assignr Pay for referee payments. Before payment can be processed, complete your W-9, add your bank account and verify your payment information in Assignr Pay. Incomplete information may delay payment.
